Everything You Wonder About Forming an Estonian Company
Once your e-Residency card and access are ready, formation usually takes 1–3 business days. The e-Residency application itself is not included in this time.
Legally, yes: the documents can be certified through a notary in Estonia. A fully online formation, however, requires e-Residency or a supported EU digital identity.
No. e-Residency is a digital identity; it does not grant residence, a work permit, a visa or citizenship, and it does not by itself change your tax residency. For those who want to live in Estonia, we offer Startup Visa and Business Visa Permit services separately.
